Issue

This solution provides steps on enabling and disabling the Carbon Black Tamper Protection Updater on one host.

Solution

1) Open a command prompt and change into the \Program Files\Bit9\Parity Agent\ directory (use Program Files x86 for 64-bit platform).

2) Enter the following command:

dascli password <CLI or global password>

3) To disable the Tamper Protection updater:

dascli kernelconfig CarbonBlackTamperProtection 0

4) To enable the Tamper Protection Updater:

dascli kernelconfig CarbonBlackTamperProtection 1
