The Carbon Black team is pleased to announce the general availability of our 8.6.0 Mac Agent. Special thanks to the Carbon Black Mac team for all of their hard work in the development and testing of this release!
This release now includes updated branding which changes the name for “CB Protection” to “VMware Carbon Black App Control”. Branding changes also include a different theme with a new look and feel.
Additionally, the following changes have been made in this release:
- Custom URL can now be enabled in the Mac notifier.
- Several security, stability, and reliability issues have been addressed. Please review the release notes for more information about this.
