Announcing the Release of Cb Protection 7.2.3 Patch 7 Mac Agent

Today we released the latest version of the Cb Protection Mac agent. This release supports macOS High Sierra. The agent works with both Cb Protection 7.2.3 and 8.x servers.

You can download the agent along with the release notes and associated files from here.

Please note, on November 6th, Apple released 10.13.2 Beta to developers. While testing the agent, we determined that Apple made substantial changes that caused incompatibility with our agent. The agent running on 10.13.2 Beta will cause a kernel panic on boot. Because of Apple's change, we delayed the release of this agent so we could perform an OS check and not load our agent's kernel extension if we detect the agent running on 10.13.2. To reiterate, with the Cb Protection 7.2.3 Patch 7 agent, the agent will not load and as such a Mac running 10.13.2 Beta will not be protected. We plan to release an updated agent shortly after Apple releases 10.13.2.
