Carbon Black Pursuing FedRAMP Certification for the Predictive Security Cloud

The US federal government requires that any 3rd-party SaaS solution to be used by a federal agency must meet strict security controls as defined by the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). FedRAMP is the federal standard for these controls and guidelines, enabling US federal agencies to migrate to the latest and most cost-effective cloud-based solutions and technologies.

We are pleased to inform you that Carbon Black will be fulfilling requirements for FedRAMP certification on our Predictive Security Cloud (PSC), enabling federal agencies to evaluate and deploy the industry’s leading Next-Generation Antivirus (NGAV) solution to achieve the highest levels of endpont security. Our current plans are to certify at the FedRAMP Moderate level with DoD SRG Impact Level (IL) 4.

We have begun the process and are currently building plans and schedules, with an initial expectation  to have PSC in a FedRAMP ‘in-process’ state by calendar 4Q18 with final certification completed 2H19. These dates are not yet finalized or committed and are subject to change, so please keep an eye on this thread for updates and additional information.

For more information you can post questions here, or you can contact your Carbon Black account manager.

Hi all,

Has the final certification for FedRAMP  has been completed?

I have searched for update on the status, but found nothing up to date.
