Cb Team, it does not appear that the Cb Response Linux Sensor v6.1.8  is available on the yum repo that is listed in the Release Notes published in October.

@jdaigle and @kehayes thank you for the heads-up.  We'll get that squared away.  @mlinde

@kehayes and @jdaigle thank you for bringing this to our attention. It look like we have failed to place the RPM in the baseurl for the RHEL/CentOS 7 release version of the server:

baseurl=https://yum.distro.carbonblack.io/enterprise/stable/7/x86_64

The RPM exists in the baseurl for RHEL/CentOS 6 release version of the server, however:

baseurl=https://yum.distro.carbonblack.io/enterprise/stable/6/x86_64

We will rectify this as soon as possible so that you can pull the sensor either way. In the mean time, could you confirm that your baseurl resolves to RHEL/CentOS 7 version for your server platform?

Thank you for your patience.

Gün

Yes, it resolves to

baseurl=https://yum.distro.carbonblack.io/enterprise/stable/7/x86_64

How long before we can download?

@kehayes and @jdaigle, 6.1.8 should now be able on

baseurl=https://yum.distro.carbonblack.io/enterprise/stable/7/x86_64

Hi all, please note there is a known issue with the 6.1.8 on RHEL 6.10 and 7.5 servers which is causing agent core dumps to be created. This fills up the disk space on the server. CB support have advised this will be fixed on the 6.1.9 version.

Thanks for the info on v6.1.8.  When will v6.1.9 be available?

No specific date yet, but see post below. Targeted for end of the month.
