New Changes to The App Control Linux Operating Systems and Respective Agents Page

New Changes to The App Control Linux Operating Systems and Respective Agents Page

As a follow-up to the post regarding support of RHEL kernel maintenance/security updates, we have made changes to the Linux Operating Systems and Respective Agents page to prevent any confusion around Linux agent support further.

For each RHEL/Oracle/CentOS Operating System, you will now notice a "+" (plus sign) following a kernel version number. Unless otherwise noted, this indicates support for any security/maintenance kernel updates/versions following an initial RHEL, Oracle, or CentOS release.

In addition, you will also notice "GA Releases Only" next to "Operating System" in the first column (to the left) in the OS support table. This indicates only GA releases from RHEL, Oracle, or CentOS are supported. Beta releases from these vendors are NOT SUPPORTED.

We hope these changes to Linux OER clear up any remaining confusion around Linux App Control OS support. We apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused.

Thanks,

App Control Product Management
