Cb Response
In order to support RHEL 6.10 without delaying our 6.1.6 GA timeline, we have re-worked the schedule. We will have 6.1.7 GA beginning of August (previously it was 6.1.6 GA beginning of August) to include both the 6.1.6 updates, as well as RHEL 6.10 support. We will also have 5.2.17 GA beginning of August, which will have RHEL 6.10 support.

Cb Response
The Cb Response team is still performing tests with RHEL 6.10 and are making code changes to the sensor in order to support it. RHEL 6.10 will be supported on Cb Response Linux Sensor version 6.1.7. We will update this post as we have a release timeline.
Original Post
Red Hat released RHEL 6.10 today and Carbon Black is actively testing this GA release with Cb Protection and Cb Response. As of this moment we cannot claim support for 6.10 in either product.
Warning: Upgrading to RHEL 6.10 will prevent the kernel module from loading and as such any upgraded system will not be protected. If possible, please wait until we release an agent/sensor before upgrading to RHEL 6.10.
Expect an update to this post on June 22.
What about CB Response Linux sensor 5.2.15.10010? Will this be compatible with RHEL 6.10, kernel version 2.6.32-754?
CB Response Linux sensor 5.2.15.10010 is NOT compatible with RHEL 6.10, kernel version 2.6.32-754. RHEL 6.10 will be supported with the release of Cb Response Linux Sensor version 6.1.7
So what are the options for customers running Cb Enterprise Response server side version v5.X?
What is the 6.1.7 agent ETA?
From what we have been told 6.1.6 is scheduled for early August. So 6.1.7 Sept/October timeframe?
I realize that the post will be updated with a release timeline, but hoping to communicate a rough timeframe internally. As from initial indications CB wouldn't be hitting their 30 day OS support goal.
Thanks
We will also be releasing a Cb Response Linux v5.2.17 sensor that will have RHEL 6.10 support.
Thank you, do you know when this is likely to be available?
Please see update to this post

Are there any adverse effects on a RHEL 6.10 server of running the non-compatible v5.2.17 sensor? Will it crash the server? Do we need disable or uninstall the sensor before upgrading the kernel?
Correction to the above, are there any problems with running RHEL 6.10 with v5.2.15 other than the fact that the CarbonBlack kernel module will not be loaded? Will the configuration be stable? Albeit not collecting process and binary data.
There should not be any issues running RHEL 6.10 with v5.2.15; however the module will fail to load/run as RHEL 6.10 is not a supported kernel for v5.2.15. Our testing is focused on v5.2.17 that will have RHEL 6.10 support.
Why wasn't this doc updated on Aug 1?
[Cb Response] Announcing 6.1.7 and 5.2.17 Linux Sensor General Availability
I will update accordingly. Thanks for pointing this out.
Is there any ETA for Carbon Black Protection release which will support the RHEL 6.10?
We are targeting 8/17 for Cb Protection support.
Is Carbon Black protect is supporting for 6.10?
I think so.
Yes, we released 7.2.4 Patch 6 on August 16th which now supports 6.10.
