Does the Pre-Linking updater rule need to be enabled?
Answer
If prelinking is enabled on any servers, this update must be enabled.
Additional Notes
VMware Carbon Black highly recommends disabling prelinking for performance reasons. You can verify if prelinking is enabled by checking the following file:
/etc/sysconfig/prelink
And verifying if the value PRELINKING is set to Yes or No
