App Control: How to Find the Host ID of an Agent

Environment

• App Control Agent: All Supported Versions
• App Control Console: All Supported Versions

Objective

To find the Host ID of an Agent.

Resolution

1. Log in to the Console and navigate to Assets > Computers.
2. Under the Column, "Computer Name" click the hyperlinked name of the Agent.
3. The Host ID will be listed In the browser URL bar.
   Example: https://ServerAddress/host-details.php?host_id=2

Additional Notes

• The Host ID can be used when creating Agent Configs or Macros in Custom Rules.
• Setting the Host ID to 0 means all devices will receive the configuration.
