App Control: How to Resend Policy Rules to an Agent

Environment

• App Control Server: All Supported Versions
• App Control Agent: All Supported Versions

Objective

To resend all Policy Rules to an Agent.

Resolution

1. Log in to the App Control Console and navigate to Assets > Computers.
2. Check the box next to the relevant Computer and choose Action > Resend all Policy Rules

Additional Notes

• To confirm rules have been passed to Agent(s), open Internal Events view in following URL: https://<app_control_servernam>/support.php
• 'Internal Agent Information' event will show successful upload of CL
• If 'Failed configlist file import' is received, example below, this indicates that port 443 is blocked:
