What is the easiest way to determine the Service Account used for App Control?
Answer
- Go to Start > Run > services.msc > click OK.
- Locate the App Control Reporter and App Control Server services.
- The Column, "Log On As" will show the user account.

- Cb Protection Reporter
- Cb Protection Server
Server versions prior to 8.0, the Windows Services were named:
- Bit9 Server Service
- Bit9 Reporter Service
