App Control: Is the FireEye connector still supported in the App Control product?

Environment

  • App Control Server: All Supported Versions

Question

Is the FireEye Connector still supported?

Answer

The FireEye integration and the FireEye Connector have been deprecated as of Server version 8.1.6. The options will no longer show up on new installs, and will be hidden (if not already enabled) after upgrading beyond Server 8.1.6. Newer versions of the App Control Server will not have any of the FireEye Connector included as part of the Server install.

Additional Notes

  • FireEye connector no longer shows up after install on new systems.
  • No reference to FireEye under "Connectors" in the App Control console.
  • Using the RESTful API in the App Control product, you could configure an integration with the FireEye product, but is not available as part of the default install.
