App Control: Linux Agent 8.7.10 Removed Due to High CPU Usage

Environment

  • App Control Linux Agent: 8.7.10

Symptoms

  • Linux Agent version 8.7.10
  • Higher CPU usage than normal

Cause

A known issue with Linux Agent 8.7.10 is causing the Agent to utilize more CPU resources, even when the system is otherwise idle.
  • EP-17210: Fixed an issue where users may experience high CPU usage due to the b9daemon.

Resolution

Upgrade to Linux Agent 8.7.12 or higher.
