App Control: Queries Within Reports>Events Timing Out After Upgrade to 8.1 P2 - 8.5.x

Environment

• App Control Console: 8.1 P2 - 8.5.x

Symptoms

Timeouts when running queries within the Reports > Events page of the App Control console.

Cause

Logic behind queries within the new events.php page are not optimal.

Resolution

Upgrade to version 8.6+ where many improvements were made to the events page logic.
