App Control Server: How To Delete Users that have been Removed from Active Directory

Environment

  • App Control Server: 8.x
  • Active Directory

Objective

How to clean up or delete deactivated or deleted Active Directory users from the App Control web interface. 

Resolution

  1. After a user has been disabled or deleted from Active Directory, log into the App Control web interface as an admin user
  2. Under user management, manually delete the matching user record(s).

Additional Notes

  • User records can be disabled in bulk.
  • Disabled/Deleted AD users will still appear as "Enabled" within App Control but will not be able to log in.
