App Control: Unable to Install MacOS Agent

Environment

• App Control Agent (formerly CB Protection): All Supported Version
• App Control Server (formerly CB Protection): 8.1.4 and higher
• Apple MacOS: All Supported Versions

Symptoms

• Failure to install Agent on MacOS
• Error received: 

  "BIT9 Platform can't be installed on this disk. The Bit9 Platform cannot be installed on major versions of OS X beyond 10.15.

Cause

The latest version of the Rules Installer version is not installed on the server

Resolution

1. Confirm the MacOS version is supported here
2. Confirm the latest Rules Installer is installed, it can be downloaded from here
