App Control: What happens when your license expires?

Environment

• App Control (Formerly CB Protection) Server: All Supported Versions
• App Control Agents: All Supported Versions

Question

What happens when the App Control License expires?

Answer

• Prior to expiration multiple events will trigger for the upcoming expiration date. These events will contain the subtype:

  License Warning

• At midnight the day following the expiration the console and API will become unavailable
• No change is made to the agents, they will continue at their current enforcement
