App control: Linux agent version showing "unknown"

Environment

  • App control Linux agent: 7.4.4+
  • Linux: All versions

Symptoms

Linux agent version shows "unknown".

Cause

An issue causes the database entry to be cleared. 

Resolution

This issue will be fixed on 8.5-lnx release.

Additional Notes

Upgrades and installs of the linux agent are unaffected. This issue is purely cosmetic.
