CB Defense: How to Confirm Signature Pack Version With RepCLI

Environment

  • CB Defense PSC Sensor: 3.3.x.x and higher
  • Local Scanner Enabled
  • Microsoft Windows: All supported versions

Objective

Locally retrieve the Signature Pack (VDF) version currently loaded on the Sensor

Resolution

  1. Launch a Command Prompt
  2. Change directory to C:\Program Files\Confer 
    cd C:\Program Files\Confer
  3. Enter the following command 
    repcli status
  4. The Signature Pack version is the VDF value listed with the Local Scanner entry under General Info 
    General Info:
        Sensor Version [3.4.0.1052...]
        Local Scanner Version [...vdf.8.16.23.160]

Additional Notes

The RepCLI command can also be used to force signature updates
