  • 'Run background scan' turned on for Policy (Enforce > Policies)

Question

What does a Background Scan do?

Answer

  • The Sensor iterates thru all drive letters and will only perform a Background Scan on "fixed" drives
  • This process helps to pre-populate a local reputation database (information about reputations and hashes)
