Can the default port number (443) be changed for the management console?
Answer
No, port 443 is hard coded into the application and various portions of supporting pages.
Additional Notes
- While the page can be bound to another port in IIS, doing so will cause the console to stop functioning properly.
- Alternatively the Resource Download Location can be adjusted to prevent exposing Port 443 to endpoints.
