CB Protection: Error: "IISMANAGER_ERROR_LOADING_PROVIDER_TYPE"

Environment

• CB Protection Server: All Versions
• Microsoft Windows Server: All Supported Versions

Symptoms

• Event Viewer - Application log shows error: "IISMANAGER_ERROR_LOADING_PROVIDER_TYPE"
• Error: "Http Error 503. The service is unavailable" when trying to load the console

Cause

Multiple Web Servers within IIS

Resolution

Move the CB Server installation to it's own IIS Web Server per OER/Server Installation Guide.

Additional Notes

Shared Configuration requires the same IIS version - Internet Information Services
