App Control: How to Verify New License was Successfully Applied

Environment

  • App Control Server: All Versions

Objective

How to verify a new App Control license has been successfully applied

Resolution

  1. Sign in to the Console
  2. Navigate to the Reports > Events page
  3. Reset any current filters (Or change to the (none) Saved View)
  4. Apply a Filter for: Subtype is License added
  5. Events for anytime a license was added will be shown

Additional Notes

If no events are showing, check the setting on the Max Age filter. Setting it to None will ensure all relevant events are shown
The license count may show 0 in use if no computers are in an active policy
