We are approving USB devices by serial number. However, after entering numerous serial numbers, they do not get added. Is there a limit on the number of serial numbers that can be approved?
Answer
Yes, there is a limit on the number of devices that can be approved by serial number. The limitation is character based, so the total count of devices being allowed is dependent upon the length of the serial numbers being added. To avoid this, use approval of model number when possible.
