CB Protection: Why do event exports show a different timestamp than events in the console?

CB Protection: Why do event exports show a different timestamp than events in the console?

Environment

CB Protection Server: All Supported Versions

Question

Why does my event export show a different timestamp than my events in the console?

Answer

The events stored in the DAS database are stored in UTC time.  The events shown in the console are translated to the local time of the CB Protection application server.  When exporting events from the console, bear in mind that the timestamps will vary due to this difference.

Additional Notes

More information on events can be found in the User Guide for CB Protection here
