Symptoms
- Alerts and emails sent several hours after events were ingested and tagged
- Delays occurred between June 17th - June 24th
- Alerts for other events are generated in between the delays
- job-runner.log may shows hits at the time the event was ingested and may not show any hits around when the alert is created
Cause
There was a backlog on the Carbon Black email servers between June 17th and June 24th
Resolution
The issue should be resolved as of June 24th, 2019
Additional Notes
Alerts within the UI would still have generated around the time the event was tagged
