Carbon Black Cloud: Alert page returns alerts for devices other than device_name used in the search

Environment

Carbon Black Cloud: All Versions

Symptoms

  • Alert page returns alerts for devices other than device_name used in the search
  • Searching device_id on Alert page returns alerts only for the searched device_id

Resolution

The name of the device must be enclosed in quotes e.g device_name:"device123"
