Carbon Black Cloud: Can the sensor be forced to use an alternative port for network communication?

Question

Can the Carbon Black Cloud sensor be forced to use an alternative port for backend communication?

Answer

There is not currently a way to configure what port the sensor uses for communication with the backend. By default, it will utilize Port 443 to establish a connection. If 443 fails, it will attempt the connection over 54443 instead.
