Environment

  • VMware Carbon Black Cloud App for Splunk: 1.1
  • Splunk: 8.2

Symptoms

"CBC Endpoint Event Overview" tab is missing from Splunk 8.2 interface

Cause

Incompatibility with Splunk 8.2 and VMware Carbon Black Cloud App for Splunk 1.1

Resolution

Upgrade to the latest version of the Splunk App here

Additional Notes

  • This defect was discovered by the third-party vendor who creates the VMware Carbon Black Cloud App for Splunk
