  • Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: 2.1.0.149 and Higher
  • Linux: All Supported Versions

Objective

How to uninstall the Carbon Black Cloud sensor for Linux

Resolution

For CentOS, RHEL, SUSE or Amazon Linux:
rpm -e cb-psc-sensor
For Ubuntu:
dpkg --purge cb-psc-sensor

 

Additional Notes

  • The sensor will still be listed in the Registered Devices list on the backend after running the command
  • To purge the deleted sensors from the console, please navigate to Endpoints → Select the endpoint to be deleted → Take Action → Uninstall
