Question

Is Azure AD supported for SAML/SSO with the Carbon Black Cloud Console?

Answer

Yes! As of the 13-Feb-23 release, Azure AD (cloud) is now a supported SAML/SSO identity provider (IdP).

Additional Notes

  • See Enable SAML Integration with Microsoft Azure Active Directory section of the User Guide for details on configuration
  • User accounts must be created in both Azure AD and Carbon Black Cloud
  • Current implementation does not provide support for just in time (JIT) user account provisioning or user creation in Azure alone
  • On-prem Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) is still not supported at this time
