  • Carbon Black Cloud Linux Sensor: 2.12.x.x and Higher
  • Carbon Black Cloud macOS Sensor: 3.5.3.x and Higher
  • Apple macOS: All Supported Versions
  • Linux: All Supported Versions

Question

Is the Content Management URL (https://content.carbonblack.io) required for the Linux or macOS Sensors?

Answer

Yes. Both the Linux and Mac OS Sensors utilize the Content Delivery Network (content.carbonblack.io) as of the 2.12.x.x and 3.5.3.x and higher Sensors, respectively.
