Environment

  • Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: 3.8+ versions
    • Endpoint Standard
  • Windows: All supported versions

Question

Carbon Black Cloud: Is CBC Windows sensor able to block .py files?

Answer

Yes, .py file will be able to get blocked by 3.8+ sensors.

Additional Notes

.py files are not able to properly blocked by 3.7 and below releases.
