Carbon Black Cloud: Pending Install for a user cannot be deleted if same user has an active sensor

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud(Formerly PSC) Console: November '20 (0.60.0)

Symptoms

• If there is a Pending Install for a user and an Active Sensor for the same user (i.e. same E-mail ID is used for both sensors), then it is not possible to delete the "Pending Install" entry from UI
• When deleting the "Pending Install" entry, it fails with the error:

  Deletion failed - Only pending invitations can be deleted.

• In the HAR file, the delete call for "Pending Install" endpoint failed with an HTTP Status 400 and message:

  "message": "Owner xyz@xyz.com has active devices"

Cause

This is a known issue with the November '20 (0.60.0) Console Release

Resolution

• Currently there is no resolution for this issue
• Carbon Black is currently investigating this behavior

This KB will be updated with the backend release that will contain this fix once it has been confirmed
