- Carbon Black Cloud Console: All Versions
- Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: 3.7.x - 3.8.0.627
Symptoms
- Upgrade attempted via Console on device(s) in Bypass mode
- Sensor Update Status job appears stuck in "Processing" status
- Manual upgrade (not using Console) is successful
Cause
Known issue being tracked under EA-20963 / DSEN-18733
Resolution
- Bring Sensor out of Bypass mode
- Re-try upgrade attempt
Additional Notes
- This is fixed in version 3.8.0.684 (MR3) and higher. Sensors upgrading from this version will no longer have this issue.
