VMware Carbon Black Support personnel may request RepCLI Authentication to be enabled as this feature provides a number of elevated troubleshooting functions which may be required to debug a particular issue i.e. Carbon Black Cloud: How To Collect Sensor Performance Logs (Windows)

Additional Notes

  • Although there are a number of functions which can only be used when RepCLI Authentication is enabled (ref Carbon Black Cloud: What are some RepCLI Commands that Require Authentication?), "RepCLI reregister" is the only command that is currently supported by VMware Carbon Black and this function requires RepCLI Authentication
