Cb Defense: 3.2.0.213 sensor uninstall prompts Windows warning

Environment

• Cb Defense Sensor: Version 3.2.0.213 and higher
• Microsoft Windows: All supported versions

Symptoms

Uninstall attempted via Programs and Features displays the following warning:

Warning 1910. Could not remove Shortcut Cb Defense.Ink. Verify that the shortcut file exists and that you can access it.

Cause

The cause of this issue is currently under investigation

Resolution

• Click 'OK' on the warning dialog box to proceed with the uninstallation, the warning dialog box does not affect the uninstall process
• Place the sensor into bypass mode before issuing the uninstall command

• Alternatively to avoid the warning dialog box; from an administrative command prompt execute the following command:

"C:\Program Files\Confer\Uninstall.exe" /uninstall
