Environment

  • Cb Defense Web Console: All Supported Versions

Question

Can I specify DNS Suffixes for on/off premises detection if I have a Single Label Active Directory Domain?

Answer

  • You will not be able to use DNS Suffixes for on/off premises detection if you are using a Single Label Domain in Active Directory.
  • If you need to set up on/off premises detection, You should use the "Reachable Hosts" feature instead.

Additional Notes

Single Label Domains in Active Directory do not have a DNS Suffix, therefore you cannot set up on/off premises detection with the DNS Suffix option.
