- Cb Defense Web Console: May '18 release and later
Symptoms
When using Advanced Search in the Cb Defense Web Console, searching for a windows path (e.g. C:\Windows) returns no results.
Cause
Backslashes in Windows paths are not translating correctly.
Resolution
Add an extra "\" to each path separator in the path ( e.g C:\\windows).
Additional Notes
- Backslashes entered in the search box need to be escaped to produce proper results. This behavior has been identified as a bug, and will be fixed in a future backend update.
