Symptoms
- Small subset of devices maxed out at 100% CPU Usage
- Initialization Percentage shows 0%
- Disabling Agent causes CPU usage to drop
Cause
The behavior is caused by delay in script processing. If a server or workstation runs a large number of scripts concurrently, it can be delayed causing a spike in CPU which doesn't reduce over time
Resolution
Upgrade to 8.0.0.2562 (Patch 6)
Additional Notes
A temporary workaround is to disable script processing until the upgrade can take place
