App Control: How to Gather a CSV Export of Events from the Console

Environment

  • App Control Console: All Supported Versions

Objective

How to provide a CSV export of events for Support.

Resolution

  1. Log in to the Console and navigate to Reports > Events.
  2. If applicable, choose a Saved View, otherwise set to None. Examples:
    • Blocked Files (All)
    • New Files (All)
  3. Set the Max Age accordingly (or use the Filter for Timestamp).
  4. If necessary, add any additional Filters. Examples:
    • Source > is > relevant Computer(s)
    • Policy
  5. Click Show Columns and choose any relevant Columns. Examples:
    • Rule Name
    • Config List Version
  6. Click Export to CSV and attach to the Case.
