- Cb Protection Console becomes unavailable
- Cb Protection Server log file shows this error:
IPv4 bind() error 10048
One or more TCP ports failed to start listening. Requesting shutdown.
- Cb Protection Application server host's Windows System event log shows this error:
Level: Error
Event ID: 7031
The Cb Protection Server service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 5000 milliseconds: Restart the service.
Cause
This problem was introduced with Microsoft Security patch KB4338815
Resolution
To correct this defect, after applying patch KB4338815 , then apply add-on patch KB4338831
