Issue

Dashboard will not load and SRS will not activate with FIPS encryption enabled.

Cause

This is a known Microsoft problem. The remediation is either to turn off FIPS support or to use the Microsoft patch listed below:

Solution

Turn off FIPS on the Bit9 server and reboot. Also, on 7.2.1, if you keep FIPS enabled, we will work around the FIPS check.

Important Note(s)

This Microsoft patch is not confirmed to work with Bit9, so the customer has to decide whether this coincides with their security posture.
