Question

Can the cb-solr.hprof.old be deleted to free up disk space on the EDR Server?

Answer

The file can be removed if needed.

Additional Notes

  • The /var/log/cb/solr/cb-solr.hprof.old file is a SOLR Memory Dump which could be ignored or could be a sign of a problem if it's newer.
  • It's possible to check the /var/log/cb/solr/*.log with the same time stamp to see if there is evidence of the cause.
