EDR: Datagrid Fails with Backoff and Exit Status 127

Environment

• EDR Server: 7.6.x

Symptoms

• Starting cb-enterprise or cbcluster, the cb-datagrid service exits too quickly.
• /var/log/cb/supervisord/supervisord.log reports "exit status 127; not expected"
• /var/log/cb/datagrid/startup.log reports "/usr/share/cb/datagrid/bin/cb-datagrid: line 28 xxxxxx: No such file or directory"

Cause

The cb.conf variable CbJavaHome has an incorrect variable.  

Resolution

For EDR Server 7.6.x, the cb.conf variable should be set to "CbJavaHome=/usr/lib/jvm/jre-11".

Additional Notes

• After cb.conf CbJavaHome is correct, confirm all services have stopped, run 'systemctl reset-failed' then start cb-enterprise or cbcluster.
• Confirm the permissions are correct on the directory.
