Environment

  • EDR (Formerly CB Response) sensor: All Supported Versions
  • Apple macOS: All Supported Versions

Objective

How to uninstall a MacOS Sensor?

Resolution

  1. Use the console uninstall which is located at sensor groups > actions.
  2. Run the Sensor Uninstall Script:

6.2.7 and earlier versions:
sudo /Applications/CarbonBlack/sensoruninst.sh

6.3.0 and later versions:
sudo /Applications/VMware Carbon Black EDR.app/Contents/Resources/sensoruninst.sh


 

Additional Notes

The script will run silently - without prompts.
