Environment

  • EDR (CB Response) Server:  All Supported Versions

Objective

Disable Carbon Black yum repo to prevent accidental upgrades

Resolution

Edit /etc/yum.repos.d/CarbonBlack.repo and set:
enabled=0

 

Additional Notes

Admin must re-enable the CarbonBlack.repo for future upgrades and new sensor version deployments.
