EDR Unified View: HTTP 401 Unauthorized Message when attempting to Browse Cluster

Environment

  • EDR Server: All Supported Versions
  • EDR Unified View: All Supported Versions

Symptoms

User is unable to Browse Cluster from Unified View console with error message "HTTP 401 Unauthorized"

Cause

HTTP 401 Unauthorized errors happen when the API token is mismatched from the EDR Cluster user account.

Resolution

  1. Login to the EDR Cluster as the user account
  2. Reset the API token- EDR: How to get an API Token From the UI
  3. Copy the new API Token Value
  4. Apply the new API Token Value to the Cluster configuration on the Unified View console
