Symptoms
- Filtering endpoints with "sensor-out-date" sensor status on the Inventory page incorrectly lists endpoints running the latest major build
- Inventory page show 3.8.x sensors as outdated
Cause
'Sensor out of date' status indicates that the sensor is not on the most recent sensor release available in the console. It also checks for minor build release. When a sensor is upgraded to the latest build release(including the minor build), it won't be flagged as outdated.
Resolution
Upgrade the sensor to the latest minor build available in the console
