Symptoms
- Horizon TrueSSO Fails At Login
Cause
- Additional Sensor Tamper Protection added for 3.8.0.627 causes Horizon TrueSSO to fail
Resolution
- Add the following Permissions Rule to the required policies...
[Application path] c:\program files\vmware\vmware view\agent\bin\wsnm.exe
[Operation Attempt] Scrapes memory of another process
[Action] Allow
Additional Notes
- It is imperative that the rule is set to an 'Action' of 'Allow' and NOT 'Allow & Log' in order to work
- Engineering is working to add this to the product by default, so there would not be any need to manually add this rule (This KB will be updated when this has been added to the product)
